Trick or Treat

Got a couple of cosplayers, here

This first one is a Mongoose/Warlord ganger.  The company's paint job was going for more of a Clockwork Orange vibe.  With that helmet though, I see more Rick Moranis.

So I went with an all black scheme and painted his club to look light-saberesque.

This "sexy nurse" was created by Reaper.

I want for pink haired, anime inspired.

She's pretty tall for 28mm.  Must be the boots.

Little Ones

I've had these kids in my lead supply for over a decade.
I think they were made by a company called Alpha, which made gladiators and WWII miniatures.  These were part of their WWII civilian line.  I never got around to adding them to my WWII collection, but I think that they will be useful for Dredd where civilians are a big part of the background.
They are a little rough, but cute.

Firestarter

Liz Sherman is a pyrokine and a member of the B.P.R.D team.

This is a repainted, rebased figure from the Hero/HorrorClix set.

This guy is the last of my Northstar cultists, and he's my favorite of the bunch.

I think his curled mustache gives him an appropriate villainous look and there's something I've always liked about fezzes.

Boys In Blue

New recruits to play soldier!

Want some of this?

This guy is another Aberrant model.  Like the previous ones, this guy is actually nice once he is put together, but getting there is sort of a pain.

Aberrant's catalog has a lot of interesting models that would work well in this setting, or similar near-futre/cyberpunk/what-have-you.

This guy is another from Foundry's Street Violence range.  I like the pose on this one.

He lacks body armor.  But hey, this is the future.  He might be a Ghost in the Shell style cyborg.

Roll Call

Anything to Declare?

These two unusual miniatures came from MegaMiniatures/JohnnyBorg and were part of a larger run of dead things.

I think I got the wrong luggage.

There are two identical bags, each one with different contents.

What's in the bag?

So many of MegaMiniatures stuff originated with other companies.  I don't know if that is the case here, or if he had someone sculpt them.

These have potential uses for scenarios or set-dressing and I like that they are a subject that departs from the norm.

These aren't mine!

They are a little small and look like they were scaled for 25mm rather than 28mm.  But bodies shoved in luggage are going to look small, anyway.

Vampire Hunter B

Not everyone is aware that Blade is a Marvel character.  Although I'm not a collector of the comic, I do enjoy the movies.

Hates his family.

For those who are unaware, Blade is a half-vampire, half-human guy with a grudge.  He hunts down vampires.

The last thing blood suckers see...

These models are available from Footsore, although I picked them up when they were offered by Musketeer.

I could easily see Blade stalking the streets of MC-1, hunting the undead, perhaps alongside Devlin Waugh (hey, Mongoose Matt, we NEED a Devlin Waugh miniature).

Great flowing coat.

Don't mess with Kris.

Blade is helped/mentored by Whistler, a human vampire hunter.

Whistler frequently shows up when Blade is in trouble and helps him get out of it.

I think the Blade miniature really captures the character well.  Whistler is good, but looks less like the actor that plays him than the Blade miniature.
