Right Hand of Doom

The Judge Dredd world is so open and uses many different settings and genres, it is one of the things that makes it such a good universe for gaming in.
There have been a good number of crossovers into the Judge Dredd world.  Although Hellboy isn't one of them, it seems like a natural enough fit.

My wife was kind enough to gift me the Horrorclix Hellboy/BPRD set.  The bases for the miniatures are not worth using, so I removed them from the clix bases they came with and have been rebasing them on more 'normal' miniature bases.

Hellboy had  to be my first repaint of the bunch, of course!

This cultist is another of the North Star models that came in a set for IHMN.

Gobble Gobble

This husband and wife team are from Blue Moon (their gothic horror line).

Fancy a bite to eat?

Before I decided on embarking on this current project for sci-fi, my original plan was to do a Victorian gothic horror/sci-fi game based on literary characters and mythology.  The Romanian civilians pack was one of the first things I picked up for that unrealized project.

Not really carrying a near-future feel, even in the anything-goes Dredd setting they are odd.  Yet they could work as Cursed Earthers or theme restaurant employees.

The models are so characterful and enjoyable to paint, I couldn't let them languish unloved.
